The Commissioner's Office is pleased to announce the promotion of Brian Kobylinski to Assistant to the Commissioner – Field Operations Manager, Greater Milwaukee Region (In Training).
Effective immediately, Mr. Kobylinski's duties will include keeping The Big Ice informed of all major prep hockey events (fashion-related and otherwise) occurring in the Metro Milwaukee area.
"Brian has been one of our most ardent albeit unsuccessful hockey pool participants over the years," stated Peter Rudy, Commissioner of the Wisconsin State High School Hockey Pool. "His obsession with the sport and keen eye for uniform design makes him a perfect fit for our organization, and we look forward to him serving his new office with honor and integrity."
Mr. Kobylinski could not be reached for comment at his rural Milwaukee ranch, as he is already tracking down the real story behind this season's Milwaukee Pius/Catholic Memorial merger, a controversial move that has seen two perennial also-rans merge into a real contender for this year's state title.
