That’s right, proud men and women of the Wisconsin State High School Hockey Pool, it’s February, that dreamy time of year that brings us dry skin, diamond-like boogers and the most glorious display of guts and stamina known to prep puckdom: The Wisconsin State High School Hockey Tournament.
I have one question: Are you ready? This year’s Hockey Pool promises to be the most spectacular ever, with your humble Commissioner taking to the road to follow the tourney as it winds from the hinterlands of Superior all the way south to the Big Ice of Madison. Along the way, he’ll be bringing you firsthand accounts of the action on and off the ice. It’s a disturbing display of obsession and mid-life crisis angst you won’t want to miss.

The deadline in next Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 5 PM (PST).
